Welcome back to 90 with Nate! Today we’re going to talk about exercise.
Now, if you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know that I’m a runner.
It’s something that I really love. It’s not only good for my body, it’s also good for my mental and emotional health.
And I’m always encouraging people to run because I love it so much.
Here’s the problem: sometimes people tell me, “Nate: I just really don’t enjoy running! There’s just nothing about it I like. It just doesn’t do it for me.”
So I’m going to encourage you today to just do something! Find something that you like; and you’re not going to know what you like until you try some things.
So maybe go for a jog. Maybe head down to the local YMCA and swim. Maybe hop on a bike; or maybe even just do some aerobics. There are a lot of YouTube videos that can teach you how to exercise right in the privacy of your own home if you don’t want to take the time to go somewhere else.
Exercise is good for so many things. Obviously it burns excess calories, but it can also burn stress out of the body; it can revive you and give you a lot of energy; not to mention that it can help to stay off disease in the body. And so you need to be doing some sort of exercise every single day.
If you don’t know what you like to do, get out there to the local gym, or maybe just head out for a jog around the local neighborhood. But try a few things and find something that you like.
And then…commit to it.
