Yesterday we talked about cultivating an attitude of refinement.
How do you do that? How do you cultivate an attitude of refinement? It can only happen when you learn to respect the journey.
Now, like we talked about yesterday, we live in that instant society where people want success “right now.” But I’ll tell you what, my friends…I’ve never seen someone go from Zero to Hero.
Now sure…there are people who can do things like win the lottery…and that have that money, and now they’re “rich.” But are they really wealthy?
I think that “rich” speaks to the amount of money they have; but “wealth” has something to do with the calibre and quality of the person who holds the money. Because they know what to do with that success once it’s achieved.
You see, money can be won. But success can only be achieved.
I read a statistic this week that said 70% of all lottery winners are completely busted in 7 years or less! That’s a really high percentage of “winners” who don’t hold on to that money very long.
An old proverb said, “A fool and his money are soon parted.” I don’t want that to be you!
Remember: Real Success only happens over time. So respect the journey.
