Emily from Chattanooga wrote in and said, “Nate, how have you grown such large teams in your network marketing businesses?”

I have to be completely honest when I say this: I believe that I eventually grew large teams because I took a long season of time to grow myself.

The plain simple truth of it is this, Emily: until I grew myself, I didn’t grow large teams in network marketing! In fact, I grew very small teams.

I think the first 3 years I was in the industry I personally enrolled a grand total of 7 people. I was just really bad at the business for a long time. lol

But as I grew myself and I began to master certain skills, I noticed that my teams started getting a little bigger…and a little bigger. And with time, as I mastered high level skill, I was able to attract a lot more people and I had a better leadership capacity and management capacity to grow larger teams.

There are the 3 things that I would recommend that you focus on growing:

  1. Master the Basic Skills of Network Marketing. Prospecting…Closing…the Art of Promotion…those are the basic skills of Network Marketing.
  2. Master Person Growth. Continue to work on yourself and to lift your Leadership Lid.
  3. Master Inter-Personal Skills. Learn to relate really well with people, find what they need, and see if you can come along side them to bring into being the thing they need in their life.

If you master those 3 things, I don’t think you’re going to have any problems growing some really large teams of your own.
