Welcome back to 90 with Nate!
I’m giving you guys 11 Success Tips from the Masters.
Today’s Tip #5 comes from the Master, Theodore Roosevelt.
Teddy Roosevelt said, “The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people.”
The Tip we get from Teddy is this: Polish Your People Skills
One of my favorite books of all time is How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. I highly recommend that you pick it up.
I know a lot of people who have “read” that book who really just grazed through it. I recommend that you read it, and read it again, and read it again!
Teddy Roosevelt is on to something when he says that People Skills is the #1 most important ingredient in the entire success recipe.
I do a training that I call The Pyramid of High Performers. In that training I teach that the 3 things you have to master to achieve great success:
- The Basic Skills of whatever it is that you are choosing to do. – The Base
- Your own Personal Development, or Personal Growth – The Middle of the Pyramid
- People Skills – The Peak
If you learn how to master working with other people…learning what it is that they need from you…how you can make them more efficient…how you can add greater value to them… it’s just going to make your entire empire go to the next level!
So take a tip from Teddy: Learn to Master Your People Skills
